The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has signed a formal agreement with Microsoft Malta, which will see the technology developer create a customised ‘Customer Relationship Management’ (CRM) system, designed to ease licensing procedures.

Creating a secure web portal, Microsoft will simplify the licensing process for all new Malta prospective operators. All MGA applicants will be able to follow in ‘real-time’ their licensing applications through the portal.

MGA governance further detailed that Microsoft were awarded the CRM project, with a view of transforming the way the Authority interacts with its existing operator and their diverse product range.

Presenting Microsoft as partner, MGA governance detailed that the CRM would showcase Malta as the leading regulatory destination for igaming and online betting sectors.

Executive MGA Chairman  Joseph Cuschieri commented on partnership

“the Authority believes that the agreement with Microsoft Malta is the start of a fruitful collaboration between the two entities. As stated last year, we are reviewing and restructuring all our internal activities to become more agile and proactive”.

“This project is another step forward in transforming the way we do business. As the only current gaming authority that offers operators a pan-European online gaming licence, our objective is to exceed the expectations of our customers, business partners and stakeholders”.

“Our partnership will take us to the next level with the latest technology and support systems.  This will be appreciated by the industry, as the industry itself is technologically advanced and dynamic. We have to be equally dynamic and agile to deal with the problems faced by the industry”.
