32Red signs up three leading jockeys as brand ambassadors

32Red jockeys32Red has announced that leading jockeys Jamie Spencer, Bryan Cooper and Paddy Brennan have joined the company as racing ambassadors.

Starting today, the jockeys will provide insight and analysis on both their rides and the big races, with daily blogs throughout the major flat and national hunt festivals. Each of them will wear 32Red-branded race apparel to support 32Red’s sponsorship programme in British Horseracing.

Spencer is a former Champion Jockey and multiple Classic-winning rider, while Cooper and Brennan have both won the Cheltenham Gold Cup in recent years.

Cooper and Brennan are poised to go head-to-head again this year, as and when Gold Cup winner Don Cossack and 32Red King George victor Cue Card lock horns in the coming jumps season.

Jamie Spencer commented: “I know first-hand that the management team at 32Red are passionate about racing, and I’m delighted to be joining them as their flat racing ambassador and columnist. I like to think that I will point the 32Red customers in the right direction.

“My seven years with Albert Bartlett were both a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Myself and my agent, Nicholas Whittle, would like to express our thanks to Ronnie Bartlett and his team for their generosity and support.”

Paddy Brennan said: “I’m happy with the way my season has started, and let’s hope it notches up another gear when Cue Card runs in the Charlie Hall at Wetherby on Saturday. And fingers crossed that will lead to another crack at the 32Red King George, which he won last season. I won’t be shy of giving a firm opinion when the situation is called for.”

Bryan Cooper, currently on the sidelines, added: “Hopefully, I will be back in action in the not too-distant future, maybe even next weekend. Watch this space. Given the amount and depth of talent the Gigginstown team have, I certainly hope to have a great season ahead both in Ireland and the UK. I look forward to giving 32Red customers the lowdown week-in and week-out.”

Ed Ware, 32Red Chief Executive, said: “These appointments complement our growing sponsorship portfolio in the sport, and we are looking forward to having three leading jockeys in the 32Red stable.

“Each are well known for their horsemanship and experience, as well as being able to express their views on the game in an engaging and entertaining way. Many of our players enjoy horse racing and we intend to continue to invest in the sport, as we expand our profile and continue to build our brand.”
