Updating its customer base, UK and Isle of Man licensed bookmaker 188Bet (188Bet.co.uk) has confirmed that it will shut down its online bingo services as of this week.
The bookmaker contacted all players concerning its decision, and further detailed that outstanding bingo balances would be transferred to player 188Bet main accounts on Thursday 23 March.
For its UK betting portals, 188Bet had operated a Microgaming powered online bingo room.
In its customer update,I 188Bet management informed players that “We are working to provide a replacement bingo product in the coming months”.
188Bet management has made no specific comment on the closure of its online bingo product. To date, In its marketing and player acquisition campaigns the bookmaker has chosen to focus on its sports betting and casino verticals.
