Following a period of high M&A activity and corporate restructuring, Eastern European gambling group Fortuna Entertainment has confirmed that it has finalised its acquisition of Hattrick Sports Group (deal first announced February 2017).
Fortuna governance has announced that its acquisition has passed all regulatory requirements, as the group expands its European market portfolio adding Hattrick assets Casa Pariurilor (Romania) and Prva Sportska (Croatia).
Furthermore, Fortuna will takeover Hattrick’s equity in Spanish online gambling brand Luckia.es.
Updating investors, Fortuna governance detailed that it was pleased to complete the multi-region transaction ahead of schedule. The company will now focus on expanding its new market footprint.
In addition to closing its M&A activity, Fortuna governance has informed that it has sold its 98% Czech lottery business ‘Fortuna Sázky’ to lottery operator Sazka, a.s, both parties chose not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
