IGT wins 7-year West Virginia Lottery lead systems supplier contract

New York-listed lottery and gambling technology provider IGT Group has been awarded a seven-year ‘base contract’ to provide West Virginia Lottery with its principal lottery draw system along with an array of game provisions.

IGT informs that it won the contract following a competitive procurement, to replace West Virginia’s legacy systems. The services contract is expected to start on 28 June 2018.

Moving forward West Virginia Lottery will begin to integrate IGT Aurora platform across its retail network, allowing for better instant ticketing services and overall customer management.

“We are excited to customize our global customer experience and retailer and player insights into a fully integrated service approach for the West Virginia Lottery,” said Jay Gendron, IGT Senior Vice President, WLA North America Lottery.

Replacing West Virginia’s redundant lottery systems, IGT development teams informed that they would support their new client with platform training and further advice on selling new lottery products.

“We have designed our products and services to assist the Lottery in achieving its sales and will work to improve growth and sustain profitability.  We appreciate the Lottery’s continued confidence in IGT, and are proud to be a partner in the commitment of our customer to maximize returns for their good causes including West Virginia seniors, education, and tourism.” Gendron added
