Today’s task: purchase cylinder gas

We run out of gas. I looked up the Internet to find contact details of the two companies selling gas on this rocky island. easygas website does not contain any contact information, so I called Liquigas:

Henrik: Good morning, where can I buy gas?
Customer Care Agent: either from Birzebbuga from the plant or from a van
Henrik: from Qormi please
Customer Care Agent: please call Tony on 99xxxxxx
Henrik: thank you

Henrik: Good morning, when and where can I buy gas?
Tony: Maltese mumbling…
Henrik: Hi, from where and when can I buy gas?
Tony: Talk to Svetlana at Banif Bank
Henrik: I do not want to go to the bank, I want to buy gas…
Tony: Talk to Svetlana, Banif Bank and hangs up.

Henrik: Good morning, I called Tony and he told me to talk to Svetlana at Banif Bank. I do not want to buy a bank, just gas . Why do I have to go to Banif?
Customer Care Agent: Of course not.
Henrik: So from where can I buy gas today?
Customer Care Agent: Let me check…from Aldo Moro street in Marsa between 3 and 6 pm, or from the plant in Birzebbuga.
Henrik: Thank you.

So I drove all the way from Bidnija to Marsa in the afternoon. I found no van selling gas.

Henrik: Good afternoon, I have been told this morning from our customer service agent that I can buy gas from a van in Marsa today between 3 and 6 pm. But there is no van.
New Customer Care Agent: Let me check who is selling gas….Mario, his number is 99…..
Henrik: How come he is not there when I have been told this morning from your agent that I would find a seller there?
New Customer Care Agent: They are freelance, we have no control on them
Henrik: So you do not care how and when your customers can buy gas? Thank you, good buy.

Henrik: Hi, I have been told from Customer Care of Liquigas that you are selling gas today from Marsa today between 3 and 6pm. Where can I find you?
Mario: I do not work today, come tomorrow morning.

So I drove all the way to Birzebbuga, unfortunately I arrived too late as they closed at 4 pm…
