This Saturday’s UFC 202 main event between  Nate Diaz vs Conor McGregor 2  has divided the world of mixed martial arts as to who will win this Saturday’s much-anticipated rematch.

In 5 March, Diaz who took the fight on ten days notice shocked the world of fighting by submitting McGregor to a second round choke-hold ending the boisterous Irishman’s unbeaten run in the UFC.  Diaz’s unexpected victory would set the motion for the UFC’s biggest fight ever.

UFC governance has this week detailed that it expects UFC 202 to break all its Pay-per-View records.  Unibet official betting partner of the UFC shares the same sentiment, stating that the main event fight between the two heated rivals will likely see its highest UFC wagering levels ever.

Gearing up for fight night, UFC pundits and punters appear split on which fighter will come out victorious from the octagon. McGregor who dominated the action packed first encounter claims to be better prepared for Diaz’s languid and  awkward fighting style.

However, Diaz backers claim that the Stockton California fighter is better suited to the Welterweight division, and with a full training camp will be an even more dangerous opponent for McGregor

Speaking to SBC William Vickery  Unibet spokesperson commented on UFC 202

“Diaz was a surprise winner from the first fight, winning at odds of 7/2, McGregor remains favourite for the much-anticipated rematch but by a much smaller margin this time, Unibet has McGregor at 3/4 to exact revenge and Diaz at 27/25 to repeat the feat.

“We expect this to be our highest turnover UFC event ever, McGregor’s last two fights currently sit first and second in terms of turnover and number of bets and from the large number of bets we have taken already and the huge hype around the matchup this trend looks set to continue.”

“McGregor had to learn the hard way in the first bout, the Irishman underestimated the former lightweight after taking the fight at short notice but he won’t make the same mistake twice. McGregor is completely focused and doesn’t just want to win but win in style, we think McGregor will get the knockout and McGregor to win in rounds 3-4 is 11/2 at Unibet which is currently most backed by our customers.” –
