Caesars seeks millennial dynamic with Gamblit Gaming roll out

screen-shot-2016-09-07-at-21-16-53In a bid to attract a younger audience to its casino floors, Caesars Entertainment Corporation (CEC) has partnered with ‘real-money games’ specialist Gamblit Gaming bringing skill-based gambling content to its properties.

Beginning in October, CEC will roll-out Gamblit syndicated content throughout its California and Nevada properties, as the casino operator looks to diversify its slots and games inventory making it more appealing to millennial consumers.

Following the initial trial period, CEC stated that it expects to fully deploy Gamblit’s skill based inventory throughout its casino portfolio.

Glendale (California) based Gamblit, has set itself the ambitious target of becoming the industry leader in ‘next generation’ gambling content. Gamblit’s platform tweaks skill based and social games adding multi-format real-money mechanisms. The company’s mission statement implies that it wants to ‘bridge the gap between video games and gambling’.

CEC governance believes that implementing Gamblit systems;  it will make its gaming portfolio more accessible to younger audiences visiting its properties, who find traditional slots play unengaging.

The Gamblit partnership was welcomed by CEC President and Chief Executive Mark Frissora who stated that it represented a ‘Key Milestone.’

“Caesars is proud to be first to bring these innovative games to our customers, and we plan to make skill-based games an increasingly important part of the gaming floors.”

CEC executives further stated that Gamblit content was ‘unlike anything seen’ in casinos before. If successful the new partnership will bring new dynamics to gambling, such as head-to-head play, combined player gambling against the house and differentiated single-player gaming experiences.

Gamblit CEO Eric Meyerhofer stated that his team was excited to bring a new dimension to casino gaming with Caesars as partners.
