Golden Race shortlisted for innovation award

Golden RaceGolden Race, a developer of cutting edge and unique virtual betting products, has been shortlisted for an innovation category at the Global Gaming Awards.

The firm’s jaw dropping Real Fighting game, which uniquely features real MMA fighters competing in digital environments, is in the running for the Digital Gaming Innovation of the Year award.

Real Fighting was launched to great acclaim at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming exhibition, and has quickly become one of the industry’s most recognisable products.

There’s very little fake about Real Fighting, as it features real HD video of real MMA world champions filmed in real live combat, forged together with real odds from real professional bookmakers.

Martin Wachter, Golden Race CEO, commented: “We are very pleased to have been shortlisted for this award, as it’s a testament to the hard work and vision of the Golden Race team in creating such a ground-breaking product.

“Real Fighting sets a new standard for virtual content with real odds and real video action that can be customized and branded like never before. MMA fighters were filmed in action combat to create a 4,000+ video library with Hollywood like FX’s capable of delivering any outcome, including spectacular KO sequences.

“Real Fighting is a true differentiator in the virtual games sector which is why we are in the running for the Digital Gaming Innovation of the Year Award.”

The Global Gaming Awards sees 60 of the most influential figures in the gambling industry cast their votes for the winners in each of the 12 categories. The judges’ votes will be collected and independently verified by KPMG, with the winners being announced at a gala awards ceremony at the Venetian in Las Vegas on 26 September, at the start of G2E 2016.
