Jochen Weiner
Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) governance has today confirmed the appointment of Jochen Weiner as Managing Director of Sky Bet Deutschland.
The leadership appointment of Weiner, comes as SB&G looks to expand its betting services in its new markets of Italy and Germany.
Weiner takes the Sky Bet Deutschland executive role, having served as Managing Director of now defunct Deutsche Telekom online betting operator Tipp3.de (2015-2016).
Weiner has further industry experience having held leadership positions at Scientific Games (Business Development Director 2010-2012) and bwin Interactive (Business Development and Media Licensing 2006 -2010).
SB&G governance detailed that Weiner will report directly to CEO Richard Flint.
“International expansion is a key part of our future strategy so I’m delighted that Jochen has joined to lead the early work on our entry to the German market. His experience and knowledge of the sector means we are well placed to take advantage of the opportunities Germany may present.” Richard Flint commented on the appointment
