Following a period of commercial growth, sports data and media rights distributor Genius Sports has announced that it will open support offices in Los Angeles (USA), Medellin (Colombia) and Vilnius (Lithuania).
Confirming its new international offices, Genius Sports governance stated that its investment would help grow the firm’s presence in over a dozen countries worldwide.
Choosing its locations for international expansion and corporate support, Genius Sports governance stated that the trio of cities were ‘renowned centres of technological innovation’.
Furthermore, the sports data provider stated that the trio of cities offered ‘talented local developers as well additional resources and services’, which would help Genius Sports with new and existing projects.
CEO Mark Locke welcomed the new office openings for Genius Sports, commenting;
“The opening of these three new offices is a reflection of the growing demand for our services around the world. The expansion of operation centres in key locations underlines our commitment to providing around-the-clock services to our clients and builds on our reputation as one of the fastest growing sports technology companies in the world.”
