The governance of Premiership Rugby the highest tier of professional rugby in England, has confirmed the renewal of its sports content and production partnership with Perform Group (Perform) for a further five years.

As content lead Perform, will continue to deliver its management of Premiership Rugby Productions, covering 66 Aviva Premiership Rugby matches each season as well as producing highlights and clips for global distribution.

Furthermore, the extended partnership will see Perform produce new rugby content for Premiership Rugby syndicated ‘Anglo-Welsh Cup’ and ‘Singa Premiership 7s’ games.

“Perform will continue to operate Premiership Rugby Productions for us, delivering outside broadcasts on our non-BT Sport matches and the production of highlights. They also provide content for our Premiership Rugby TV and YouTube platforms,” said Dominic Hayes the Commercial Director of Premiership Rugby.

Perform governance were pleased to extend one of its longest standing business partnership. Extending its deal for a further five years (12 years by the end of the contract) Perform detailed that it would optimise Premiership Rugby broadcasts enhancing match graphics, game commentary and increasing social media content output.

“To extend our long-term relationship with Premiership Rugby is massive news for Perform,” said Gareth Rees, Senior Vice President at Perform. “The fantastic partnership we have built up with them over the years continues to expand and we look forward to delivering all our services, both domestically and internationally, for the next five years.
