Mobile casino LeoVegas is celebrating its fifth birthday by reaching €800 million in deposits from over 600,000 customers.

Having launched in 2012, LeoVegas.com generated €39.7 million in Q3 2016, and has experienced a 76% growth in revenue over the last nine months.

LeoVegas was the first operator to launch in-game deposits across all markets, and became a listed company in March 2016, before expanding into sports betting with the introduction of LeoSport ahead of Euro 2016. Last year also saw the launch of LeoVegas’ unique NetEnt Live Casino product.

The company has picked up accolades at the EGR Operator Awards, EGR Nordic Awards, SBC Awards, Gaming Intelligence Awards and GA Gaming Awards. In January 2017, the company signed its biggest sponsorship deal to date by becoming the Official Betting and Gaming Partner for Leicester Tigers.

Shenaly Amin, UK Country Manager at LeoVegas.com, said: “We’ve been on a great journey since LeoVegas launched back in 2012, and it feels great to have achieved so much in such a short space of time. The awards won reflect the hard work that everyone has put in over the years and are a credit to the whole LeoVegas team.

“We’ve beaten our own expectations in terms of growth over the last half a decade, and we’re extremely proud to now employ 363 people across two countries. The future is looking very exciting, as we continue to develop our Live Casino and Sportsbook offering and add even more games to our platform.”
