Scout DFS announces major governance appointments in Blom & Ternström

Rolf Blom

New industry daily fantasy sports software supplier Scout Gaming Group (Scout) has announced the executive appointments of Rolf Blom as Chairman of the Board and Andreas Ternström as company Chief Executive.

Seeking significant growth in the coming months, Scout has recruited former NetEnt Chairman and serial igaming/betting industry investor Rolf Blom as its first Chairman of the Board.

Blom commented on his governance role at Scout ”For me, it was an easy decision to assume the role as Chairman of the Board at Scout Gaming Group. The company has a dedicated focus on the product, and they have one of the best fantasy sport products on the market. Hopefully, my experience from NetEnt will help Scout as the company now enters a rapid growth phase.”

Andreas Ternström

The appointment of Blom is followed by the announcement that Andreas Ternström will lead the DFS supplier as CEO. Ternström joins Scout from Evoke Gaming (formerly Bonnier Gaming) where he served as CEO (2011-2016).

Scout detailed that Ternström appointment follows the securing of a major round of venture funding for the company.  Ternström has been formerly appointed to lead Scout’s next phase of corporate growth and development.

“When I first met the founders of Scout and saw what they had accomplished with their tech, and later with the product they delivered to Norsk Tipping during the UEFA Euro Championship 2016, I realized that I had found a new home” commented Ternström on joining Scout.
