Authentic betting experience draws people to virtuals

From a giant sand castle to cheerleaders, superheroes, sporting superstars and one of the world’s strongest men, the exhibition at ICE Totally Gaming never ceases to amaze.

With a total net space of 40,925 sqm, representatives of 67 jurisdictions and sovereign states, and in the presence of 42 accredited media organisations, piquing interest and standing out from the crowd at ICE 2017 was harder than ever before.

However, virtual betting provider Golden Race did just that. Its stand may have featured a Cristiano Ronaldo lookalike doing ‘keepie-uppies’, but CEO Martin Wachter and his team caught the eye with a passion for providing the best user experience and a focus on “product over pure flash.”

Wachter commented: “At Golden Race we are known for a few things – innovation and passion are involved in everything we do, we always try to make things in the best way for our customers and their players. This year we chose to showcase our newest solutions – Golden Race Online, and our mobile specific platform.

“We have designed our Online and Mobile platforms from the ground up based on a real sports betting sportsbook. Everything which players love from real sports betting, we have. Our interface is the same, so it is totally familiar, which means that players have nothing to learn. Players enjoy Golden Race products because they get a real betting experience, not only a pretty picture.”

Having launched its unique MMA based virtual sports game, ‘Real Fighting’, at last year’s ICE, Wachter admitted that this year’s Golden Race exhibition was “less about a specific product and more about a general presentation of everything we offer.” Nevertheless, he was delighted with the company’s reception at the event, and the platform it has given them to “continue delivering the best solutions for the betting industry in 2017.”

He concluded: “We had another very successful show; in fact, I would say it was our best. It is very encouraging to see the response and know that we are progressing in the right way.”
