Bede Gaming recognised in Sunday Times Tech Track 100 index

Bede Gaming has placed 76th on the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track, a league table documenting Britain’s fastest growing tech organisations.

The suppliers of software to the online gambling industry, has been recognised for its growth and successes since inception five years ago.

The Newcastle upon Tyne headquartered firm’s platform, for operators within the gambling industry, and currently powering some of the world’s biggest brands, processes tens of millions of transactions per month, and was a large factor for the accolade.

Michael Brady, Chief Executive Officer of Bede Gaming, said: “It was great to meet with such titans of the British technology industry and a proud day for Bede Gaming to be in such company. The breadth of knowledge in the room was inspiring and my thanks go out to The Sunday Times and Hiscox for this recognition.

“Bede Gaming continues to grow an innovative technology business to service the international gaming market, whilst staying close to its roots in the North East of England.”

The listees of the Tech Track were honoured at an awards dinner, which was hosted to celebrate ‘some of the most outstanding, and exciting, privately-owned businesses in the technology, media and telecoms (TMT) sector,’ this week.

The total turnover this year of the 100 companies in attendance and who make up the league table stands at £2.9bn, a figure that has undertaken a sharp spike since the £414m that it stood at in 2001.

Gary Head, Managing Director at Hiscox Insurance, addressed the attendees by saying: “The companies making up this year’s league table are a testimony to the great depth of entrepreneurial experience in the TMT industry.

“Such a breadth of skills and experience matters more than ever, as the widespread adoption of internet-based technology means almost all businesses are tech companies now. Congratulations to all the companies featured this year.”
