Prince of Darkness and Metal Casino join forces

The ‘Godfather of Metal’ Ozzy Osbourne has signed a deal with Metal Casino, the self confessed “biggest, boldest and most hardcore online casino on the planet,” to become both a brand ambassador and part owner of the company.

Launched in August of this year Metal Casino promises it’s players a harder rush through the use of the edgiest games, and by bringing fans closer to both their favourite bands and genre of music in general.

Clas Dahlén, Chief Marketing Officer at Metal Casino, said: “Ozzy Osbourne is a legend and now he’s a partner with Metal Casino. As far as we’re concerned, this is the biggest sponsorship deal in the world and we’re still in awe that our all-time hero is on board with the project.

“But the most important thing is, when we started Metal Casino, we knew it had to be more than just a casino, but a platform for a global community of metalheads and casino lovers to share their passion. With Ozzy’s help, we’re going to make this happen.”

Metal Casino, who proclaim to be “the world’s first casino that embraces Metal music fans and casino lovers,” partner with some of the biggest names in hard rock.

Through these link ups players could be on the receiving end of a number of perks including merchandise, concert tickets and even backstage access, in addition to big cash prizes.

Speaking about his latest collaboration, Ozzy added: “The guys at Metal Casino told me that their brand was all about being true, relevant and dedicated to the customer and that really resonated with me.

“To me, that translated as keeping it real, keeping it original, and doing it all for your fans, and that’s all I’ve been trying to do my whole life.”

The original Black Sabbath, with releases such as Paranoid and Master of Reality, were ranked as ‘The Greatest Metal Band of All Time’ by MTV, before Ozzy went on to sell over 100 million records and receive three grammy nominations in a hugely successful solo career.

In 2006 Ozzy, along with Black Sabbath, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
