SportPesa “thrilled” with new Football Manager partnership

Kenyan sports betting operator, SportPesa has agreed a five-year deal to become an official partner of Football Manager.

As part of this innovative partnership, SportPesa will receive in-game advertising during match simulations and dual-branded content will appear on the operator’s growing social media channels.

Speaking about the partnership, Shaun Simmonds Head of Marketing for SportPesa said: “We’re thrilled to finalise this partnership with Football Manager, the game is rightfully adored by thousands of football fans all over the world and is recognised as a footballing institution.”

The deal adds to SportPesa’s already expansive sporting sponsorship portfolio,  with the online operator already boasting partnerships with the likes of Everton, Arsenal and LaLiga amongst others.

Speaking about Football Manager, Simmons added: “We have a number of shared values with Sports Interactive – a passion for innovation, a duty for social responsibility and a deep love of football for starters.
