The Chengdu Pandas have emerged the champions in the first edition of the Global Poker League (GPL) China. Once on the brink of crashing out, the Chengdu Padas made an excellent comeback to advance through the playoffs and win the title to bag one million Yuan – approximately $151,000 – in cash.
