Ladbrokes becomes official betting partner of Monumental May

The Vanarama National League Play-offs, or ‘Monumental May,’ has received British based betting and gambling firm Ladbrokes as its official betting partner.

The partnership coincides with a brand new play-off format across The National League’s competition, which it states is “excited about the exposure it will bring.”

Michael Tattersall, Chief Executive Officer of The National League, said: “We are proud to have Ladbrokes on board for what is set to be a significant time in the history of The National League.

“This partnership will provide fantastic exposure for our competition, and we look forward to working with Ladbrokes during this time.”

The play-off format features six sides, and Monumental May gets underway with the clash between Aldershot Town and Ebbsfleet United on Wednesday May 2, with all five play-off matches set to be televised live on BT Sport.

The winner of the clash will face Tranmere Rovers in the semi-finals, with Sutton United facing the victors of Boreham Wood and AFC Fylde in the other semi-final showdown.

Wembley Stadium awaits the successful pair of the semi-final ties at the Vanarama Big Day Out on Saturday May 12, which will see one lucky side take their place in the English Football League’s third tier – League Two.

“As Britain’s biggest multi-channel betting operator we are very excited to be sponsoring The National League play-offs.

“It’s a very exciting time for clubs as they embark on their mission for promotion and we would like to wish the clubs and fans the very best of luck,” said Jessica Bridge, Ladbrokes Head of PR.
