Kambi and Latvijas Loto reach sportsbook agreement

Sports betting technology and software supplier Kambi has announced that it is to supply its online sportsbook to to the national lottery operator of Latvia.

Signing a long term agreement with SJSC Latvijas Loto (Latvian Loto), a provision of its full managed sportsbook and services is to follow, which is set to be offered through digital channels.

The Government owned Latvian Loto is to integrate the offering into its player management platform, which is pencilled in to take place later this year.

Jānis Pone, a Latvijas Loto member of the board, commented: “With this deal, the Latvian national lottery company expands its product portfolio with sports betting games, offering quality products for playing in a legal and controlled way and also shifting profits to the public interest.”

Becoming the first deal with a public lottery customer, Kambi states the agreement was reached due to its European Lottery and World Lottery Associations accreditation, with its expertise in risk management and local sports trading key intricacies for the Latvian Loto.
