US fantasy sports operator DraftKings has detailed that it will bolster its DFS inventory adding aits new ‘Flash Draft’ component to its NFL Season 2018/19 games/tournaments.

The game-play innovation, will allow DraftKings players to make line-up changes whilst NFL games are in-progress, adding an in-play dynamic to DFS tournaments.

Updating players, DraftKings expects to launch ‘Flash Draft’ games mid-way through the NFL season 2018/19 (season begins 7 September).

The Boston-based DFS operator, has launched a landing page detailing full features of ‘Flash Draft’ upcoming roll-out, a component that it believes will add a new layer of competition to its DFS tournaments.

Further, DraftKings product development news, saw the DFS firm open a new strategic San Francisco hub aiding the firm’s ongoing sports betting expansion and market ambitions.

Bolstering its sports betting product initiatives, DraftKings governance has confirmed the appointment of former IGT and Caesars Entertainment executive Jamie Shea as new Head of Digital Sportsbook operations.

Furthermore, DraftKings will support its new sportsbook team, with the appointment of US wagering veteran Frank Kunovic as Director of retail betting operations.
