6 of the Best – SBC Awards co-host Kirsty Gallacher
Rounding off November in style, we have a special edition 6 of the Best featuring Kirsty Gallacher – one of the star co-hosts for next week’s SBC Awards at The Artillery Garden in London.
Gallacher, one of the most recognisable faces in sports broadcasting, will be joined on stage by Manchester United and Denmark goalkeeping legend Peter Schmeichel.

It’s a difficult one but I do love ‘The very best of Prince’! I was so upset when he passed, gone far too soon. I so hoped to see him live again as I went years ago, and he was an incredible performer.
Best Book
I am reading and loving ‘Oscar’ by Matthew Sturgis. I enjoy reading about Oscar Wilde and have read many books about his life, but this is by far the best in my opinion!
Best Bet
I am not a lucky winner in general. However, at the King George at Ascot this year I surprised myself and came away with more cash than I’d started with that day!
Best Sporting Experience
I’ve been so lucky to work at so many fabulous events, but it would have to be the Ryder Cup! It’s so unique and a great team event.
