US hungry Intralot appoints Nicklas Zajdel as digital lead
Athens listed gambling technology and lottery systems supplier Intralot SPA has confirmed the appointment of Nicklas Zajdel as new Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
An industry veteran in delivering omni-channel projects and products, Zajdel joins Intralot’s executive team from Ladbrokes Coral (GVC Holdings) where he formerly served as Managing Director of Digital Solutions and Director of Commercial Operations.
A seasoned industry executive, Zajdel holds further industry executive experience having served as technology lead for Playtech Plc (2010-2013 ) and bwin.partygaming Entertainment (2007-2010)
Updating the market, Intralot informs that Zajdel will be tasked with leading the firm’s new digital division, which will deliver new sportsbook platforms and player management systems.
Intralot Deputy Chief Executive Nikos Nikolakopoulos, highlighted the importance of Zajdel’s hire, as the Athens enterprise seeks to aggressively expand its services with the US betting market, stating:-
“The appointment of Mr Zajdel contributes to Intralot’s strategic objective of shaping the future of gaming by strengthening our capabilities with new digital products and services to assist growth across all industry verticals but particularly enhance our ability to tap the nascent sports betting market in the US.”
