Kambi secures Rank renewal with further Enracha mandate

UK legacy gambling operator Rank Group Plc has expanded its existing sportsbook technology and systems arrangement with Kambi Group Plc to cover sports betting provisions for its Spanish market ‘Enracha’ brand.

Since 2016, Kambi has served as lead online sportsbook platform and software supplier for Rank’s flagship Grosvenor property, which saw the partnership relaunch the Grosvenor Sport’ domain for Rank Interactive.

Following a ‘successful three-year partnership’, Rank governance has renewed its Kambi agreement, which will see the Stockholm technology group service new sportsbook software provisions for Enracha, which to date has operated primarily as Rank Group’s Spanish lead bingo brand.

Adam Joseph, Director of Digital Operations for Rank Group, said: “We’re thrilled to strengthen our working relationship with Kambi as our sports betting provider. They have been integral to the success of our sportsbook, Grosvenor Sport, since 2016.

Rank has maintained a Spanish market presence since 1994, operating its Enracha Bingo Clubs and online casino services.

In 2018, Rank governance outlined its commitment to establishing a ‘digital footprint’ within the Spanish market, acquiring ‘top 2’ online bingo operator YoBingo.es for €21 million.

Furthermore, Rank governance has highlights growth in Spain as a key corporate directive, as Rank seeks to diversify its commercial revenues and market make-up beyond its UK shores.

Commenting on developments, Max Meltzer, Kambi Chief Commercial Officer, said: “It gives me great pleasure to confirm a new long-term deal with Rank Group, one of the leading and most respected operators in the gaming and sports betting industry.

“In the space of three years, Grosvenor has developed into a recognised sports betting brand and we are confident this successful partnership will springboard Grosvenor to its next level of growth and also help Enracha achieve similar recognition in Spain.”
