BetShah brings player-led approach to new sportsbook
BetShah believes it has created an online environment where players can find the widest variety of markets, ease of navigation, instant payments and ‘second to none’ customer support.
The team at BetShah, a new sportsbook and casino operator which sponsored this year’s Betting on Football conference, includes former PAOK FC pair Ilias Petrogiannis and Jotis Panagiotas.
The duo are joined by Project Manager Ioannes Lagos, who has held senior industry roles with the likes of Favbet and Novibet.
“Our aspiration is to become the No 1 Sportsbook in Gaming and Mobile Gaming,” said Lagos. “At BetShah, we are not just experienced professionals under one roof, but also players ourselves, who eat, breath and sleep sports and betting.
“We have created an online environment which players can understand and appreciate. The widest variety of markets and live betting, ease of navigation, instant payments, and second to none support are what we always wanted – and could seldom find – as players. We are now offering this to our players.”
The operator is owned by Disrupt Entertainment Limited N.V., a company registered in Curacao where BetShah holds its only licence so far. However, it is in the process of acquiring further licences for the UK, Malta, Sweden and Denmark.
Lagos explained: “Our goal is to obtain licenses in as many countries as possible and then target these, and only these markets.”
