Genting ‘Forty Five’ rebrand sees Kensington property return to its roots
Genting UK will refurbish and rebrand its ‘Cromwell Mint’ casino after renaming the property as the ‘Forty Five Kensington’.
One of the oldest casino properties operated by Genting, the Cromwell Mint is set to undergo a multi-million-pound refurbishment which will see it transformed into a ‘world class gaming venue’ featuring a ‘first-class dining facility’ at the heart of London’s South Kensington Brough.
Updating the media, Genting management explained that the rebrand will see the South Kensington casino return to its origins, which had initially operated as the ’45 Club’ during the 1960’s.
Further venue enhancements will see property upgraded with a new private gaming room, and an increase in its number of table games. Genting said that a ‘renewed emphasis on hospitality’ will see the Forty Five Kensington turned into one of London’s leading casinos.
Gary Moore, director at Genting Casino Cromwell Mint, explained: “We are incredibly excited to announce the extensive refurbishment and re-brand of the casino to Forty Five Kensington.
“Our aim is to provide South Kensington with a cosmopolitan and prestigious casino experience that is open to both regular members as well as those visiting the area on holiday or on business.
