Playtech Signs Strategic Deal with Wplay

Playtech has signed a major structured agreement with Colombia’s leading gambling brand Wplay. Playtech confirms the deal and said that they would be a strategic technology partner to the Colombian gambling operator.
As per the deal, Playtech would also provide operational and marketing services across Wplay’s retail and digital gambling operations.
“The strength and quality of the Wplay brand combined with Playtech’s 20 years of technology leadership in the industry will see us drive the online growth of the market in Colombia,” Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said.
“Strengthening Wplay’s leadership in Colombia this agreement will deliver the technology and expertise required to take the market in Colombia to the next level,” Wplay President Julio César Tamayo said.
