Costa Media targets Portuguese top spot following fresh investment
Portuguese industry publisher, Costa Media confirms that it has secured a €550,000 equity investment round, funding the next phase of expansion for its affiliate network.
The funding round was led by igaming investors Growth Box Ventures (GBV) and Dreamworx, backing Costa Media’s ambitions to become the industry’s leading Portuguese and Spanish language publisher.
Founded in 2019 by enterprise team of Gonçalo Costa (CEO) and Bernardo Moreira (COO), Estoril-based Costa Media currently operates the Portuguese domains of mistercasino.pt and oddsdesportivas.pt.
Securing new investment, Costa Media will seek to expand its Portuguese portfolio and launch further new domains within the soon to be regulated Brazilian online gambling marketplace (legislation dependent).
Further to a Brazilian launch, Costa Media details that it will launch new affiliate portals within Spain and Mexico, expanding its publishing network significantly during 2020.
Backing Costa Media’s investment and strategy, Gonçalo Costa said; “We are very excited about having GBV and Dreamworx as investors and partners.
