SoftSwiss enhances sportsbook offering for US leagues

SoftSwiss has expanded the scope of its sportsbook product, announcing the introduction of a live in-play betting option for US sports leagues.

The firm intends to utilise its new live wagering offering – supplied by odds feed provider and ongoing partner Betradar – to expand sportsbook functionality for its B2B clients and their customers, enabling odds to fluctuate quickly and more regularly due to the impacts of in-play actions during matches, further increasing value.

As a result of the enhancement, the customers of SoftSwiss’ operator partners will now be able to place in-play wagers on live National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB) fixtures.

Although highly popular products globally, prior to the recent expansion bets on American major professional sports leagues were only taken as a pre-match option.

“We are continuously expanding the functionality and enhancing the interface of our product, making SoftSwiss Sportsbook even more versatile, reliable and secure for our clients,” added Alexander Kamenetskyi, Product Owner of SoftSwiss Sportsbook.

“With this new in-play bets option SoftSwiss Sportsbook will be able to maximise player engagement, as well as increase interest in the product from the side of operators. Our platform is actively expanding geographically and we would like to thank our partners for their trust.”

SoftSwiss first launched its sportsbook product in December 2020, with the aim of providing ‘business growth opportunities’ for its customers, and has since expanded its client portfolio to include five operators, with plans to sign more in April, including third-party operators.

With support from Betradar, SoftSwiss’ sports betting solution offered 60 different sports upon release, covering over 1200 markets, whilst also enabling risk management, fraud prevention and customer support services.

The company developed the sportsbook programme building on its experience in the iGaming market, making extensive use of the functionality of its SoftSwiss Online Casino Platform, taking security, stability, player segmentation and adaptability into account.
