Dmitry Sergeev to leverage ‘huge potential’ in Eastern Europe for Parimatch Russia
Parimatch Tech has confirmed that Dmitry Sergeev will take charge of its Parimatch Russia franchise-based partner, with responsibility for coordinating the firm’s growth strategy in the wider Eastern Europe region.
Sergeev will lead Parimatch Tech’s franchise implementation in the area in the role of Head of Parimatch Eastern Europe for Parimatch Russia as the franchise prepares to separate from Parimatch CIS to operate independently in the new year. 
The former CEO of Parimatch CIS, Sergeev will implement an expansion plan across the CIS and Eastern Europe markets for Parimatch Tech – which rebranded from its initial corporate identity of Parimatch earlier this year – based on the acquisition of local betting licences following the planned separation.
“Russia represents a huge potential for future growth, and our continued expansion across the region increasingly demands more and more from each of us on the team, which I’m delighted to be leading,” Sergeev remarked.
“Our franchise-based development in the Eastern Europe is a new direction and will prove a highly ambitious challenge that both myself and our team will relish. No additional structural organisations of the Ukraine-based company’s Russia-facing arm ‘are expected to be announced’, although the company has detailed that it will reveal further plans for the Eastern European markets in 2022.
Meanwhile, Sergeev’s previous position as CEO of Parimatch CIS will be transferred to Yulia Leskova, who was appointed based on her ‘track record of consistent outstanding quarterly growth’ in Belarus during a nearly decade-long tenure at the firm.
