Genius Sports nets full blitz of NFL live content for US sportsbooks

Genius Sports has secured a marquee extension of its official data partnership with the NFL, which will allow the sportstech firm to supply live streams of fixtures to syndicated US sportsbook partners.   

The agreement will allow remaining NFL season 2022 games to be added to the Watch-&-Bet solution – Genius’ live sports streaming programme for sportsbook partners.

NFL live streams will be initially rolled-out on the desktop platform and mobile apps of Caesars Entertainment (Caesars.com), benefitting its standing as ‘Official Sports Betting Partner’ and ‘Official Casino Sponsor’ of the NFL.

“The addition of live Watch & Bet video streaming brings the best that the NFL has to offer right into the Caesars Sportsbook app,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.

“Delivering innovative technology like this remains a key emphasis for us, so being the first U.S. sportsbook to provide customers with in-app NFL live streaming isn’t something we take lightly. We’re thankful to bring an industry-leading new feature to our sports wagering app through our partnership with Genius Sports and the NFL.”

Since 2021, Genius Sports has served as the NFL’s worldwide distributor of real-time official play-by-play statistics, helping the pro-sports league establish its custom-built data feed for media and betting businesses to function across regulated markets.

The partnership extension sees Genius secure full coverage to live stream NFL games to all syndicated sportsbook, including those in the USA beginning with Caesars.com.

Genius will move to augment its live video betting products to enhance the viewing experience of NFL fans through its Watch-&-Bet, solution.
