Maltese sports betting operator Izibet and Sporty-Tech, a French sports betting solutions provider, have entered into an agreement to enable the former to provide the Maltese betting community with access to the international common pool on French Horse Racing as provided by the PMU.
The French racing calendar (both French races and those abroad) will be open for betting throughout the Izibet retail network in Malta as well as in the Dragonara Casino in St Julians on a daily basis.
Sporty-Tech CEO Cyril Casanova said of the agreement: “We’re delighted to have teamed up with IZIBET and are very excited to enable horse race punters in Malta to avail of the French PMU pool.”
He added: “There is a growing demand among punters, both land-based and online, for PMU international pool and operators are increasingly looking for new ways to fill this demand. Given the success that IZIBET has garnered since launching sports betting in Malta, I have no doubt that betting on French horse racing via the IZIBET network will prove to also be a huge success.”
