The operator behind SBOBET, Celton Manx, has signed an agreement to become the official betting partner of League of Ireland Premier Division side St Patrick’s Athletic Football Club.
The terms of the deal will see the SBOBET betting brand promoted via the club site and at matches at Richmond Park, the home of St.Pats.
St Patrick’s Commercial Manager Frank Kinsella said of the partnership: “We’re proud to be recognised by such an internationally well-known name in online sports betting as SBOBET. It’s also great to be working with Celton Manx, a company that clearly shares our commitment to supporting the local community and providing opportunities to encourage people to be the best they can. We see this agreement as giving a real boost to the club this year.”
Celton Manx Executive Director Bill Mummery said: “St Patrick’s Athletic is a long-standing Premier Division club which clearly recognises the importance of not only connecting with their fans but also developing strong local links and engaging with the Dublin community. Similarly, for Celton Manx, a broad social commitment is a cornerstone of our business.”
He added: “We are pleased to be deepening our relationship with the Republic of Ireland and wish St Patrick’s Athletic every success this season.”
This partnership follows similar recent deals between SBOBET and other SSE Airtricity League sides including Cork City and Dundalk FC.
