PMU sets 6 challenges in search for innovative firms

pmulabFrench monopoly operator PMU is working hard to cultivate innovation and has launched a special initiative in order to facilitate the ambition.

At Viva Technology, PMU is bringing together 50 startups that will have the opportunity to be a part of the 2020 strategy of the leading French betting and online gaming operator.

PMU has launched the initiative at Viva Technology Paris 2016 as it is ‘resolutely determined to develop its relationships with wordwide startup ecosytem’.

Throughout the HUB CAMP program, HUB Institute has been elected by PMU to select and host the 50 startups on PMU booth at Viva Technology that will take place in Paris at the Parc des expositions de la Porte de Versailles, from June 30th to July 1st.

The international startups chosen by PMU will have the opportunity to pitch on one of the 6 PMU Challenges in front of a jury. The six winning teams will get the opportunity to implement their projects (POC – Proof of Concept) within the PMU Lab project and receive one of the six prize money awards of 25,000 euro.

The operator’s PMU Lab aims to accompany the evolution of the business model of the PMU and to strengthen its online presence, or even its digitalsation. Its goal is also to develop the idea that innovation belongs to all. PMU Lab anticipates, imagines, develops and ‘concretises’ innovations which contribute to transform the customer experience by preparing the ground for an industrialisation.
