Maria Hedengren departs as CFO of NetEnt

Updating the market Stockholm-listed igaming content and games developer NetEnt AB has confirmed that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Maria Hedengren has decided to leave the company.

A key stakeholder in NetEnt’s executive and leadership team, Hedengren had led the firm’s financial initiatives and strategy since 2011. She further established key NetEnt operations for the games developer’s risk management, auditing and corporate compliance as the company expanded its services internationally.

NetEnt governance informed that it has begun searching for Hedengren’s successor. Hedengren has agreed to maintain her responsibilities until she leaves the company.

Following her departure from NetEnt, Hedengren is set to  join an undisclosed firm as CFO.
