BETDAQ nets Charlton Athletic shirt sponsorship

Screen Shot 2016-07-08 at 11.53.02Ladbrokes subsidiary exchange betting platform BETDAQ has been announced as new kit sponsor of London League One football club Charlton Athletic FC.

BETDAQ marketing confirmed that it had signed a three-year contract replacing the University of Greenwich as shirt sponsor of ‘The Addicks’.

The BETDAQ brand will be promoted throughout Charlton’s The Valley Stadium (capacity – 26,000) on match days as the football club looks return to The Championship following last season’s relegation.

Charlton Athletic’s new season 2016/17 football shirt is set to unveiled today at The Valley, with BETDAQ as official sponsor.

BETDAQ managing director Shane McLaughlin commented on the partnership:

“We are delighted to partner with Charlton Athletic. The club has a fantastic history and a passionate fan base. We’re backing the club to bounce back into the Championship this year and we believe the club has a bright future ahead. It certainly promises to be an exciting season with Russell Slade in charge and some great new signings already in place.

“Football is an important and growing part of our business and the Charlton Athletic partnership provides a great platform to bring our product and brand to a new audience in the important London market.”

Charlton CEO Katrien Meire commented on the club’s new sponsor:

“BETDAQ have a great ambition for this partnership and we are very pleased to have them as the club’s new shirt sponsor. We are looking to build a long-term partnership that will see Charlton Athletic and BETDAQ grow together.”
