Safaribet looks to become Ghana Premier League title sponsor

Reported by Ghanaian football news source GhanaSoccerNet.com, Ghana FA and Premier League officials were seeking a secure a title sponsor for its sixteen team league failing to secure sponsorship in 2016.

The bookmaker has operated in Ghana since 2012, becoming one of the country’s leading sports betting brands.

Safaribet management stated that it was one of the few operators to fulfil all the Ghanaian regulatory requirements for sponsoring the Ghana Premier League having been granted an official Gaming License by the Ghana Gaming Commission.

Halit Karabasoglu Founder & CEO Safaribet confirmed to national news sources that his firm were in advanced talks to secure  the title sponsorship of the Ghana Premier League.

Detailing negotiations with Ghanaian football stakeholders, Karabasoglu would further state that Safaribet would commit to funding grass-root initiatives with the aim of “making a great impact on Ghana football”
