Sportradar secures NHL ‘Fraud & Integrity’ monitoring partnership

icehockeyThe NHL has confirmed that it will incorporate Sportradar’s ‘Fraud Detection System’ (FDS), monitoring all its syndicated matches for integrity and suspicious betting activities.

The US professional ice hockey league, becomes the latest sporting body to incorporate the FDS monitoring system, as Sportradar a European sport data and analysis specialist expands its services within US sports.

The partnership, sees Sportradar expand its current provisions with the NHL, as the company currently services the league with ‘Real-Time Game Data’ analytics.

Issuing a corporate statement, NHL governance specified that it would change its game integrity monitoring which to date has been undertaken by a ‘variety of security agencies’. The NHL will now centralise its monitoring of games utilising Sportradar FDS systems.

“While we have the utmost confidence in the integrity of our sports and our games, Sportradar’s Fraud Sportradar’s Fraud Detection System provides an additional layer of security and protection,” said NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman
