Betsson AB online betting subsidiary Betsafe has been announced as official ‘In-stadium Betting Partner’ of Yorkshire football club Sheffield United for the 2016/17 English Football League One season.
Confirming the partnership, Sheffield United will promote the Betsafe brand within high visibility areas at Bramall Lane (capacity 32,000) during its season 2016/17 matches.
Betsafe marketing further revealed that the in-stadium partnership would additionally feature ‘branded kiosks’ promoting its UK betting services, as well as its brand gaining further promotion on staff clothing.
The European online betting brand, extends its presence within English football, as last season Betsafe were the official betting partner of Manchester City men’s and women’s teams.
Betsafe marketing were pleased to have secured a further betting partnership in English football, stating that their “sponsorship portfolio will allow the gambling operator to exercise their strategies which will allow them to further cement themselves in the UK online gambling market”.
