Nasdaq-listed Penn National Gaming (Penn), becomes the latest US land-based gambling operator to enter the social gaming space by announcing the launch of ‘Hollywood Classic Slots’ a social casino with over 30 slot titles.
Its new social product will be operated by new division Penn Interactive Ventures, formed following its August acquisition of Rocket Games for a reported $60 million (£45 million).
The Hollywood Classic Slots game will be initially made available to consumers via iTunes App Store, with Penn stating that an Android version will be made available shortly on Google Play and Amazon stores.
Rocket Games social casino content is amongst the most popular with US players, prominent amongst the most downloaded titles in gaming charts.
Acquiring Rocket Games in August, Penn governance detailed that it wanted to make its corporate services more appealing and dynamic to a younger audience.

In addition, with Hollywood Classic Slots, we have plans to incorporate our loyalty program, Marquee Rewards, so customers can earn rewards to use at their favorite casino.”
