Industry business intelligence, insights and intelligence advisory ComplianceOnline has confirmed that appointment of Richard Leather as its Legal & Research Director.

Leather joins ComplianceOnline from European sports betting operator Betclic Everest Group where he held the position of Head of Regulatory & Licensing (2014-2016).

Furthermore, Leather has served as a member of the legal committee of the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), communicating with EU-level decision makers and national governments and regulators on industry policy and regulations.

The appointment of Leather as Legal & Research Director will see him work with ComplianceOnline clients advising on industry regulatory developments and changing practices.
