Hosting its launch party on 1 May with some + 3500 guests in attendance, Novomatic officially opened the Arena Prater with Austrian F1 Legend and company ambassador Niki Lauda taking on ribbon cutting duties.

Built on two floors, the Arena Prater premises covers a staggering total area of 1,350 metres squared.

The venue which has been themed with an American sports bar design will house over 70 betting terminals, as well as a gigantic 42 metre squared ‘LED Wall’ which will project sports broadcasts throughout the day.

Developed by Novomatic’s software division, the LED wall can also be split into many different screens.”This means that, for instance, all Champions League games playing at the same time can be broadcast together – this broadcasting possibility is unique in Europe,” said Harald Neumann Chairman of Novomatic

Open from 9 am till midnight daily, ADMIRAL has added entertainment features for its Prater customers including a ‘Red Bull Racing Seat’ HD simulation game. The ADMIRAL Sportsbar is fully catered offering food options of ‘Austrian delights’ and ‘US classics’.
