Ministers from the Irish Cabinet passed the Courts and Civil Liabilities (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill yesterday afternoon which would raise the minimum age from 16 to 18 years to participate in and enter gambling venues. The Legislation will not come into force until the government releases the full text.
