Kristof Fahy departs as Ladbrokes Coral Chief Customer Officer

FTSE-listed bookmaker Ladbrokes Coral Plc has confirmed the departure of Kristof Fahy as Group Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

Issuing a corporate statement Ladbrokes Coral detailed “Following the successful integration of the marketing functions and the aligning of the marketing budgets to the Retail and Digital Executives, our Chief Customer Officer, Kristof Fahy has decided it is time to leave the business and seek new opportunities.”

Fahy had joined Ladbrokes in 2015 from the Telegraph Media Group taking on the leadership position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), as Ladbrokes aimed to relaunch its digital betting/gaming services.

Following the bookmaker’s decision to merge with UK market rival Coral in 2016, Fahy’s position would change to CCO for the combined enterprise, where he would lead customer alignment projects combined with new group marketing initiatives.

A UK marketing veteran, Fahy had been further tasked with merging and restructuring a number of Ladbrokes Coral marketing divisions and assets.

Ladbrokes Coral detailed that Fahy would leave by the end of September and that the company would not be seeking a direct replacement.
