Integrity at the heart of Perform and TXODDS link-up

A new partnership has been launched with the dual aim of protecting the integrity of sports competitions and betting markets.

Perform and TXODDS are set to collaborate on a number of new projects, whilst also providing innovative new systems designed to offer “unparalleled” access to additional intelligence and analysis.

Ross MacEacharn, CEO of Perform Content, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with TXODDS, the leaders in the betting odds data field. Having access to their market-leading data and insight is a great advantage for Perform in the development of our monitoring system.

“We are pleased to have supplemented our range of Integrity operations with a best-in-class system that can assist sports bodies’ efforts to protect the integrity of their sport.

“We also look forward to supporting the TXODDS roll out of additional integrity products for the betting sector.”

Einar Knobel, CEO of TXODDS, added: “TXODDS is a trusted data source that understands the sports betting industry, making it our aim to protect it from any suspicious activity.

“We are very excited to be continuing our work with Perform, having already developed a system designed to detect, monitor and investigate activity to help in the challenge of maintaining the integrity of sporting competitions across the globe.

“We look forward to introducing our new integrity-led services with Perform, supplying the most reliable data to clients all over the world and leading the fight against corruption in sport.”

The new partnership has already led to the development of the proprietary and unique betting market monitoring system, currently utilised by Perform’s integrity unit.

Powered by bespoke volatility alert feeds, it is tailored to highlight betting irregularities across a variety of sports competitions.

The feed is built using RunningBall, the perform data service, and TXODDS’ betting market data compiled from a range of global operators.

The system is being used by Football DataCo, the official data rights holder of all the professional football leagues in England and Scotland and Spain’s La Liga, across a host of football integrity projects.

Perform and TXODDS state that “The partnership will next focus on supporting the development by TXODDS of additional integrity-led products and services, powered by RunningBall and targeted at the betting market.”
