Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli, the Italian regulator has announced the identity of a few companies that have applied for an Italian gaming license.

In March 2018 the regulator confirmed that it has received around 80 iGaming license applications. The ADM also noted that some of the companies have opted to try their luck for multiple licenses, with the fee for each license being set at €200,000, earning around €16m for the Italian regulator.

Reports by CasinoNewsDaily.com confirm: Lottomatica, Bet365, PokerStars, Luckia and Videoslots among the compamies next to a number of Italian land-based casino operators.

The newly given licenses will be valid untill the last day of 2022.
