Bordeaux Calling! Betclic undertakes recruitment drive for French market comeback

French online gambling group Betclic has confirmed that it intends to hire an additional 100 new employees for its new Bordeaux headquarters.

Under the leadership of new Chief Executive Nicolas Béraud, the legacy French online gambling firm has restructured its operations, relocating its head office from Paris to the South West of France.

Furthermore, Betclic governance continues to reduce the operational headcount of its London offices, relocating staff to its new Bordeaux offices.

Updating French media, Betclic confirmed that it would undertake a recruitment drive to hire 100 new staff focusing on the remits of marketing, legal compliance and IT development/infrastructure.

Betclic’s new operational structure sees the firm divide its operations between its new Bordeaux HQ and its Malta customer services centre.

In 2017, Nicolas Béraud a former executive team member of Betclic’s enterprise founding team returned to lead the company replacing long-term CEO Isabelle Andrès.

Taking over Betclic leadership, Béraud has stated that his objective is to return the legacy operator to its former glories as number 1 bookmaker in a changing French online gambling market.

Speaking to French media, Béraud backs the city of Bordeaux as Betclic’s new home, stating that he is confident in finding top talent to drive the firm’s comeback.
