Norsk Tipping appoints Holtvedt & Mengshoel as future enterprise leaders

Norwegian state-owned gambling group Norsk Tipping has moved to restructure its senior executive leadership team adding two new appointments to lead the firm’s future enterprise strategy.

In its update,  Norsk Tipping confirms the appointment of Eirill Holtvedt as new Director of Corporate Strategy and Development.

A former senior finance and venture funding executive for DNB Norway, Holtvedt joins Norsk Tipping leadership to drive the firm’s enterprise strategy and future organisational developments.

Holtvedt will be supported by the promotion of Per Kristian Mengshoel as new Managing Director for Innovation and Corporate Development.

Mengshoel has formerly led Norsk Tipping’s data and systems division as Chief Data Officer (CDO – 2017-2018)

Prior to the promotion, Mengshoel had served as Norsk Tipping acting innovation lead since January 2018, with the gambling group moving to confirm his full remit as a new corporate leadership executive.

Updating corporate stakeholders Norsk Tipping chief executive Åsne Havnelid backed the two senior appointments, stating that they would be critical to Norsk Tipping’s future progress and corporate growth.
