New York-based sports data and insights provider, RotoQL has launched its first B2C sports mobile analytics app – BetQL, seeking to provide sports fans with the best tool to beat the bookmakers.

BetQL has been developed to enable sports fans to ‘discover the best value propositions’ across betting markets. The platform seeks to deliver effective data with optimal market/event insights to its audiences, levelling the playing field between punter and sportsbook.

Set to initially launch within the US (state dependent), BetQL leverages its data from RotoQL’s proprietary DFS assets RotoQL and SquadQL, which are utilised by +110,000 fantasy sports professionals.

The data app, represents RotoQL’s first sports betting related property. Last April, the New York-based start-up completed a $3 million seed investment round, on the guiding enterprise mandate that it would seek to become ‘Bloomberg for sports audiences’.

RotoQL enterprise backers include global gaming venture capital fund Velo Partners and legacy US sportsbook data firm Don Best.

Backing the launch of BetQL, Justin Park CEO of RotoQL stated: “BetQL gives punters the power to find and place bets through a simple, mobile-first app. Designed with the latest technology, BetQL promises to help an educated betting class take on Vegas and deliver the best user experience available during an action-packed season of sports
